If you’re like me you like puzzles, specifically rebuses. Rather why you’re here, right? The last time down rebus lane I did old Beatles tunes, this trip features Superhero and sci-fi TV shows prior to the 80s. There’s 16 to begin with, but… nothing. That’s all there is. Enjoy.

Here’s how it works

• Each single row of pics and symbols decode to spoken sounds of words, syllables or letters
• Letters with a plus (+) are sounds added to the accompanying pic
• Letters with a minus (-) are sounds subtracted from the accompanying pic
• Letters by themselves are the sound of the letter’s name (S is “ess” not “sss”)
• Brackets indicate a sound is being spelled out, [sea a tea] = cat
• Mouseover rebus to show the meanings of the pics and symbols
• Mouseover pic meanings to show the solution to the puzzle

That’s all the hint you get. It’s a bunch of old shows. Maybe you remember them from the time. Maybe you’ve only seen reruns and remakes. Whichever, try and figure them out. That’s what rebuses are for.
